Who this policy covers
This policy applies when you visit sironova.com, join the Sironova waitlist, create or use a
Sironova account, connect Apple services such as HealthKit or Apple Watch sync, submit food or recipe text
to AI features, or contact us for support.
For privacy questions or rights requests, contact hello@sironova.com.
If Sironova is offered through a local app store listing or business entity in your country, that operator is
responsible for the service in addition to what is described here.

Email address, login details, age confirmation, profile settings, unit preferences, and support messages.
-
Workout and planning data
Weekly plans, workout templates, session history, logged sets, timers, exercise selections, streaks, and
app-generated insights.
-
Nutrition data
Food diary entries, saved meals, recipes, macro targets, calorie targets, and nutrition corrections you
submit.
-
AI assistant inputs
Text prompts, pasted ingredient lists, optional images, and the structured results produced for food or
recipe assistance.
-
Device and technical data
App version, device type, crash or diagnostic information, and sync state needed to keep the service
stable and secure.
HealthKit, Apple Watch, and sensitive fitness data
If you grant permission, Sironova may import or sync workout, energy, body mass, and related fitness data
through Apple frameworks such as HealthKit and Apple Watch connectivity.
We use HealthKit-connected data only to provide the health and workout features you request, such as workout
import, calorie enrichment, body-mass history, and cross-device sync. We do not use HealthKit data for
advertising and we do not sell it.
If you revoke permissions, we stop collecting new HealthKit data. Previously imported records may remain in
your account until you delete them or request deletion.
How we use your data
- To provide the core product, including workout planning, workout logging, nutrition tracking, and
profile setup.
- To sync data between your iPhone, Apple Watch, widgets, and the Sironova backend.
- To generate AI-assisted meal parsing, recipe estimation, and related nutrition suggestions when you use
those features.
- To calculate progress summaries, streaks, weekly balance, calorie estimates, and other product
insights.
- To operate the beta waitlist, send launch or product updates you request, and respond to support or
correction reports.
- To prevent abuse, secure the service, troubleshoot issues, and comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases we rely on
- Contract: when processing is needed to create your account, provide the app, sync your
data, and deliver paid features.
- Consent: when you grant access to HealthKit, camera, microphone, photo library, or use
optional beta communications or AI inputs that are not strictly necessary.
- Legitimate interests: for security, debugging, service improvement, and fraud
prevention, where those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Legal obligations: where we must keep or disclose information to comply with applicable
law.
AI features and uploaded images
If you use the AI food assistant or recipe tools, Sironova processes the text and optional images you
submit to generate structured food components, nutrition estimates, or recipe ingredient suggestions.
Those features are designed to help you log faster, but outputs can be incomplete or inaccurate. Review the
result before saving it, especially if nutrition accuracy matters to you for health, allergy, or medical
reasons.
When we share data
We may share data with service providers that help us run Sironova, such as hosting providers, cloud
infrastructure, authentication services, email or waitlist delivery tools, AI processing providers, and
customer support tools. Those providers process data on our behalf and only for agreed purposes.
We may also disclose data if required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect users, Sironova, or the
public. We do not sell your personal data.
International transfers
Sironova and its processors may store or process data in countries outside your home country. Where EU or
EEA law applies, we aim to use an appropriate transfer mechanism, such as adequacy decisions, standard
contractual clauses, or another lawful safeguard.
How long we keep data
- Waitlist and beta signup data: until you unsubscribe, ask for deletion, or we no longer need the list
for launch communications.
- Account, workout, and nutrition data: while your account stays active and for a limited period after
deletion where needed for backups, dispute handling, or legal compliance.
- Support, correction, and abuse-prevention records: for as long as needed to investigate and resolve the
issue, then only as long as reasonably necessary.
Your privacy rights in the EU and EEA
If the GDPR applies to you, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export certain
personal data, and the right to object to some processing. You may also withdraw consent at any time where
we rely on consent.
We aim to respond to valid requests without undue delay and, where required by law, within one month. You
may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your data has been
handled unlawfully.
Adults only
Sironova is intended only for users who are 18 years old or older. We do not knowingly offer the service to
minors or intentionally collect personal data from anyone under 18.
If you believe a minor has submitted data to Sironova, contact us and we will investigate and delete the
data where appropriate.
Security and changes
We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal data, but no service can
guarantee absolute security. Keep your login credentials confidential and contact us if you believe your
account was accessed without permission.
We may update this policy as Sironova changes. If the update is material, we will update the date above and
may provide additional notice inside the product or on the website.
